The Priscus Photographic Library

We supply high quality images from the late 19th and early 20th century to the printing, publishing and media industries.

Rare coloured images are taken from hand coloured plates.All images can be supplied in either black and white or sepia toned for the same price.

I offer fine quality digital images from historically important images of people and views. The images are taken directly from original glass plates produced by Victorian and Edwardian photographic studios. Digital processing enhances contrast and exposure while bringing out the full range of tones and superb detail captured in these rarely seen images. The Library contains over 2,000 images, including over 1000 of Scotland.
